Jennifer Kae - Lead Vocals

Jennifer K. Hernandez was born February 13 in Houston, TX.  She began singing when she was 8 years old in the church and elementary school choirs.  Being a part of a musical organization from 4th grade until her high school graduation in 2000, she developed an ear for music that has helped her in solo performances as well as those with a group.  Jennifer joined her first live music band at 15 singing background vocals for a local female country singer.  During that time, she worked extensively; training her ear to find a harmony line in any and every piece of music that she heard.  That same year, she stepped into the spotlight as the lead singer of Southern Justice.  From the age of 15 till the present, Jennifer has been singing lead and adding versatility, harmony and entertainment to live music.  She traveled to Nashville, TN in December of 2000 to record three original songs.  She performed with the band Knight Riders for four years before developing vocal chord problems.  In May of 2004, she was diagnosed with gastroesophageal acid reflux disease.  Due to the seriousness of her condition, Jennifer took a much needed two year break from the live music world.  In February of 2006, she was offered a lead singing position for the newly formed Southern Justice which she gladly accepted.  She is still singing in church every Sunday to thank God for giving her the gift of music.
